we can help

Patients of PalmLeaf Massage can receive substantial health benefits from the services provided which include Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy and other medical/clinical massage modalities.

Massage for wellness, therapeutic, and clinical can treat a variety of ailments including:

  • Migraines
  • Tendonitis
  • Bursitis
  • Frozen Shoulder
  • Abdominal Constipation
  • Carpal Tunnel
  • Shoulder Pain
  • Lower Back Pain
  • Iliotibial band contracture (IT Band)
  • Piriformis Syndrome
  • Lymphatic Drainage
  • Hypertension and other ailments

In addition to the benefits of massage, many people may not know that their insurance could actually cover the treatment if it is determined to be ‘medically necessary’ by a doctor, a chiropractor, or a physical therapist.

Under Obamacare, section 2706, states that licensed massage therapy can be covered under medical insurance.

Ramon suggests that people ask their doctor if massage therapy could be beneficial to their over all treatment plan. Your doctor can write a ‘massage prescription’ or download a physicians referral/prescription form available from PalmLeaf Massage Clinic to give to your doctor. Ramon will then give you a Superbill and you in turn can submit it to your insurance for reimbursement.

“We are not replacing medical services by any means, but rather our services are complimentary to them. Massage not only promotes wellness but is also therapeutic,” says Ramon.
