To ensure the efficiency of our services and to respect the value of your time and that of our staff, we require prepayment for all appointments except for members. Given our demanding schedule and past occurrences of no-shows, prepayments are necessary to prevent cancellations.
At PalmLeaf Massage & Wellness, sessions cater to chronic pain relief, offering relaxing and intense options tailored to your comfort and tolerance. Discomfort might occur as muscle tension breaks down, but we adjust accordingly to your comfort level. Remember, communication is vital to achieving your personal wellness goal. We also offer acupuncture and chiropractic care for pain management.
We also offer specially designed pre-natal and post-natal massages for mothers-to-be. Our goal is long-term pain relief, and we customize treatments while prioritizing your overall well-being.
Yes, walk-ins are welcome. However, please note that we currently do not have a full-time receptionist on-site. For this reason, we strongly recommend booking your appointment in advance—either schedule online or by calling our off-site customer service team at 847.961.4800 .
Most of our therapists are often in session providing therapeutic massage and other wellness services, which may limit immediate availability for walk-ins. While we do occasionally have openings, many of our appointments are booked ahead of time.
If you do decide to walk in, we encourage you to call our off-site customer service during business hours. They’ll be happy to assist you in checking availability and reserving a spot.

Yes. We do require an adult present in the room during the therapy session.
A doctor’s prescription is advisable if you have a medical condition or recently had surgery. Hence, we have as much information as possible to ensure you benefit most from your massage treatment.
Returning clients should arrive at least five minutes before their session. New clients who book online should complete the intake form online prior to the appointment to save time and not detract from the session. If you are not able to fill out the forms online, arrive at least 15 minutes early.
To show consideration for other scheduled clients, we may not be able to accommodate you for your entire session allotted if you arrive late.
For maintenance needs, it is typical for most people to do it once a month. People with chronic pain usually get a massage once a week until they experience relief. You and your therapist will discuss a treatment plan that includes the frequency of massage sessions.
90-minute or 120-minute massage sessions allow more time for focusing on specific problem areas. Therapeutic massage relieves typical complaints of the head, shoulder, arm, hand, knee, leg, foot, or backaches due to injuries or arthritis. It has proven to be a well-adapted form of integrative healthcare that does not attempt to replace traditional Western medicine but augments and works in conjunction with contemporary allopathic care.
You and your therapist will create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs, which may include joint mobility exercises, lifestyle adjustments, and self-massage techniques. Your therapist will also recommend how often you should receive massage therapy and help schedule your next appointment to secure your preferred time while you’re still at the clinic.
For many clients, a warm bath with 3 cups of Epsom salt can be a helpful way to flush out toxins released during the massage and reduce any soreness you may feel the following day. If you have diabetes or other medical conditions, please consult your doctor before using Epsom salt baths.
Is it possible to purchase a gift certificate in person?
Yes, you’re welcome to purchase a gift certificate in person! Please call us at 847-961-4800 to schedule your visit so our team can make the necessary arrangements before you arrive, as we do not have a full-time receptionist on-site.
Alternatively, you can pre-plan and customize your gift certificate online. After completing your purchase, simply give us a call. We’ll print your certificate on premium paper and have it ready for pickup in a gift envelope at the clinic.

Your massage therapist is a professional and deserves to be treated as such. Be respectful of their time, and do not try to extend your session beyond the allotted time. Also, never say or do anything rude or inappropriate, as it could make the experience very uncomfortable for both of you.

When you come in for a full-body massage, it’s truly important to wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing that lets you move freely. This is especially true if you’re having a Thai massage.
Please remember that what you wear can change based on the type of massage you’re getting. For example, during a therapeutic massage, your therapist might ask you to partially or fully undress. Rest assured, you’ll have a private space to change and be properly covered with a sheet while on the table.
It is important to emphasize that your comfort remains our priority; hence, you are welcome to dress according to your personal preference without undue concern.
We understand that plans can change, but we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment. We value both your time and our therapists’ schedules, and advance notice allows us the opportunity to offer that appointment to another client.
Any appointment changes or cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment are considered a late cancellation and are subject to the full session fee (100% of the scheduled service).
Clients who do not show up for their appointment without prior notice will also be charged the full session fee.

To be fair to clients with appointments scheduled after yours, your session may need to be shortened if you arrive late. Your appointment will still end at its originally scheduled time, and the full session fee will apply.
Unfortunately, we do not accept insurance. However, we can charge your HSA or FSA credit card for therapeutic massages that relieve chronic pain. If there are issues, your provider might have restrictions. You can submit your receipt for reimbursement.
We are sorry, but we do not accept Medicare.

By enrolling in the PalmLeaf Membership Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by this Membership Policy, including our 48-hour cancellation policy and all membership terms and conditions.
Your monthly membership automatically renews on the 1st of each month. At that time, your credit card will be charged for your selected 60-minute or 90-minute membership, and one service credit will be added to your account.
If you use all of your monthly credits before your next renewal, any additional services will be billed separately after each visit at member’s rate.
Please keep your credit card information current to avoid interruptions to your membership.
If we are unable to process your monthly payment, we will notify you. If payment cannot be processed before your next renewal date, your membership may be canceled. A new enrollment fee may be required to reactivate your membership.
Your membership may be shared with your immediate family members.
Simply include your family member’s full name, unique email address, and cell phone number in your booking notes when scheduling an appointment. We will create an individual profile, transfer the applicable credits, and send the required intake forms to help maintain accurate medical records.

The $49 enrollment fee is a one-time enrollment fee and is not charged annually.
Once enrolled, members can save up to $29 per massage service.
If you choose to cancel your membership due to moving or any other reason, your automatic monthly billing will stop. The enrollment fee is non-refundable.

Memberships may be paused for up to three (3) months per calendar year.
Your membership will automatically resume at the end of the pause period, and your payment method must remain in good standing.
If you have unused credits and wish to use them before renewing, we can pause your membership for up to three months.
Your remaining credits will continue to be honored at your member rate, allowing you time to catch up while on vacation, recovering from an injury, or while away from town.
If you cancel your membership with unused credits remaining, we will convert those credits into prepaid sessions at your member rate.
You may also choose to convert those credits into PalmLeaf Gift Certificates.
If you notice any billing errors or unexpected charges, please contact us before filing a dispute with your bank or credit card company.
