Lower Stress | Reduce Pain | Just Feel Better

Lack of Exercise

Painful muscles and stiff joints discourage exercise, which leads to more pain and more stiffness. Therapeutic massage can help you get back to a regular exercise routine by reducing muscle pain and increasing flexibility.

Tight Connective Tissue

Fascia (connective tissue) surrounding muscles becomes damaged due to inactivity or repetitive motion strain. Therapeutic massage provides appropriate stimulation of the fascia, realigning the fibers and restoring flexibility.

Poor Circulation

Reduced blood flow caused by tight muscles can be painful. Therapeutic massage relaxes muscles and increases blood flow by the use of manual pressure.

Stress–Pain–Stress Cycle

Everyday stresses cause tense muscles, and chronically tense, painful muscles keep you from relaxing. Therapeutic massage breaks this cycle so you can relax, which benefits your overall health.

Solution

Trigger point therapy treats the source of the pain

Trigger points often cause pain in other muscles.

Myofascial trigger point therapy was pioneered by Dr. Janet Travell (President Kennedy’s personal physician) and Dr. David Simons (an aerospace physician). They mapped trigger points and their referred pain patterns over the whole body. A trained therapist can identify both active and latent trigger points and release them with therapeutic trigger point massage.

Testimonials

  • By far, the most masterful and generous massage technicians I have ever experienced. I just got my massage, and now feel like my body has been given new life… They are incredible because they effectively restore the mind and body. Top recommendations for PalmLeaf!

    - David V., Yelp Review

  • I came to PalmLeaf Massage Clinic for back and hip pain. The session is customized for my needs. I could feel my whole body releasing the tight muscle knots from spot to spot. I literally felt like I could melt because I was so relaxed and fluid. The hip pain and lower back pain I had been experiencing was gone! I would highly suggest their services to anyone as I know the healing they provide. I cannot wait for my next massage!

    – Katie S., Yelp Review

  • This place is amazing and I tell all my friends to go. Every single therapist knows exactly what they are doing and listen to any issues you may have. I strained my back and was limping for almost two weeks. I went once to PalmLeaf Massage and I never had that issue again. I follow up with maintenance as needed. All of the therapists are all well trained. They all listened to all the issues I had and got all of the knots out of my shoulders. I will continue to go back. Wonderful place!

    – Keshia R., Yelp Review

  • I had a 90-minute massage session at PalmLeaf and it was fantastic, the best I've ever had. I can only describe the massage session as a customized fusion approach based on the different styles I've had over the years. I had a problem with "frozen" neck and shoulders two years ago that rehab sessions with a bone and joint specialist didn't quite address. Will definitely be back at PalmLeaf Massage Clinic. Trigger Point Therapy massage making more of a difference!
